System Dynamics Corporation is looking for talented Network Technicians and Oracle DBA's to take the company into the future. The company has been doing Enterprise Resource Planning solution based 100% on the Oracle technology stack for more than 40 years. This includes the Oracle Database, Oracle APEX and Oracle Forms and Report for the front end.

We are currently developing pure Cloud solutions and mobile pps so experience in these areas is also a plus.

This is an opportunity for a self-starter looking to play a key role in a long established and stable ERP Development Firm. While we have offices in Markham the option to work 100% remote is also available.

This position will give students the opportunity to learn from a variety of jobs and to understand how it all fits together. We are combining the Network Infrastructure and Oracle DBA into one listing as some students may like an opportunity to experience both aspects of the software business.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervised by Senior Oracle DBA to learn technical aspects of installing and maintaining Oracle infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to work under a brilliant Oracle DBA with 30+ years experience managing Oracle technology stack

• Assisting Oracle DBA with maintaining SDC's Proprietary Cloud infrastructure and Oracle Cloud infrastructure

• IT Infrastructure tasks include :

  • Setting up new Primary Domain Controller

  • Setting up and executing Disaster Recovery tests (Oracle Cloud and SDC Proprietary Cloud)

  • Setting up new Patch Updater server environment

  • Moving www.SDC.ca to Oracle Coud, rolling out new software versions and more.

Required Skills

• Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL a must. Interest in both software design and DBA also a plus.

• Oracle PL/SQL

• Oracle APEX and/or Oracle Forms / Reports programming

• Oracle Linux (Redhat Linux) Server Administration

• Windows Server Administration

• Oracle DBA skills a plus

• Mobile App development on Android Studio skills/interest a plus
